The Double Header scheduled for Saturday, June 1st vs. Brimfield has been cancelled and will be rescheduled for a date later in June or July. The game was cancelled due to the Super Sectional win by the Eureka High School Varsity team. They will be playing at the state finals on Friday and Saturday at Dozer Field in Peoria (home of the Peoria Chiefs). If you get the chance, please go support the high school team as they look to capture a state title.
What an awesome day!!! The Eureka Legion Baseball team won their first game against Macomb, 10-4. They lost the second game 5-3 but overall they played great. I'm very proud of all of the players and appreciate all of the hard work they've put in over the past couple of weeks to get ready. I would like to thank Joe Miller for all of his hard work and dedication to the Legion baseball program. Volunteering to coach is a huge commitment, I will never be able to show the right amount of gratitude for all of your time. Thank you too to all of the parents for your support so far and all you will do in the games to come. There are many more games to play and many more wins out there for us to get. Keep up all of the hard work! Congratulations on the first win.
The Legion baseball team has the opportunity to play at the Corn Crib in Normal (home of the CornBelters). The catch is, they have to sell 75 tickets to a CornBelters game in order to play.
See two games for the price of one. All tickets are box seats.
Please help support two great baseball programs by buying a ticket.
We are currently offering Legion Baseball Coats, Hats, T-shirts and Sweatshirts for sale. The proceeds will be used to fund the costs of equipment and tournament fees. Please consider buying something to help support our team and show your pride around town.
There are two ways to send your order in.
1. Mail completed form and payment to Sauder Sports (address at the top of the order form).
2. Mail completed form and payment to Eureka Legion (P.O. Box 97, Eureka, IL 61530).

I would like to thank EVERYONE that had anything to do with the Eureka American Legion Baseball Team's 1st Annual Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday. The event was a huge success and wouldn't have been possible without the help of many people (too many to list individually). I'm so thankful that the people and businesses of Eureka supports great organizations like ours.
We served 350 people.
Due to the players working hard to sell tickets for 6 weeks prior to the event and the many people who purchased tickets at the door we made a great profit. The money will be used to purchase uniforms, equipment, pay umpires and pay for tournament fees.
Lastly, please let us know what you thought regardless if your comments are good or bad. We need to get feedback so we know how to improve our event for the years to come. We can be reached by email at email@example.com.
